James Lees is currently the Technical Director of Assurance and Accreditation at WRc, where they lead various initiatives including the WRc Assurance and Approved certification schemes. From 2009 to 2011, they began their career as a Graduate at Welsh Water, later progressing to various managerial roles such as Network Maintenance Contracts Manager and Integrated Management Systems Manager at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water between 2017 and 2018. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Geography from Cardiff University, which they obtained in 2009.
