Hansel Fernandez

Hansel Fernandez has worked in the software engineering and development field since 2009. Hansel began their career at SapientNitro as a Software Engineer and Team Lead, where they were responsible for managing tasks, code reviews and mentorship, training, and developing features. Hansel then moved to Wrecking Ball Studio + Labs in 2011, where they held the roles of VP of Software Engineering, Director of Development, Senior Software Architect, and Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead. In 2016, they joined Capture.it as VP of Product Development, where they were responsible for defining product vision, strategy, testing new business models, and managing teams.

Hansel Fernandez attended Miami Dade College from 2007 to 2009, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) in Computer Science. Hansel then attended Florida International University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
