George Payne

George Payne is an experienced professional in the broadcasting industry, currently serving as a Content Systems Administrator at WREG-TV since August 2012, where responsibilities include supervising Media Coordinators and maintaining the Broadcast Automation System. In addition to this role, George has been an Alderman for the City of Southaven since July 2009. Prior experience includes working at WMC-TV from May 1995 to August 2012 in various capacities such as SNG Operator, Engineering Operations Manager, and Engineering Operator, overseeing critical operations and managing a team of 26. George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Arkansas State University, supplemented by education from the University of Mississippi and Northwest Mississippi Community College.
