Whats Happening Myron Mays is a seasoned radio producer and host, currently leading the independently produced "Whats Happening Myron Radio Show" on WQOX-88.5FM since March 2015. Mays is also a contributing panelist on WREG-TV's "Live at Nine" program, participating in discussions on trending topics. As a freelance entertainment columnist for The New Tri-State Defender Newspaper since January 2008, Mays researches and writes about entertainment and pop culture. Previous roles include guest appearances on WATN-TV, relationship columnist for Southern Soul Magazine, and a radio personality for Cumulus Media/1035 WRBO-FM. Mays holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Memphis, earned from 1991 to 1996.
