Linda Roberts has a diverse and extensive work experience. Linda has spent the majority of their career at Wrexham County Borough Council, starting as a Senior Solicitor in 1997 and progressing to various roles including Acting Service Manager and Head of Service Legal Democratic & Registration. Currently, they hold the position of Interim Chief Officer Governance & Customer, which they took on in October 2021. Additionally, Linda has worked as an Associate Lecturer at The Open University from an unspecified date until June 2018. Prior to their time at Wrexham County Borough Council, they worked as a Solicitor at Hillyer McKeown | Unrivalled Client Service from 1990 to 1997, specializing in family law and also establishing a Landlord and Tenant section, and involving herself in domestic violence forums and training seminars for the police.
Linda Roberts earned a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Nottingham Trent University from 1985 to 1989. In 1990, they completed the Solicitors' Final Examination at The University of Law. In 1992, they became a member of The Law Society. Linda also holds a Level 7 Executive Diploma in Management from Coleg Cambria, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. In 2015, they received a BTEC Level 3 Award in Education and Training from Wrexham ITEC.
