Nigel Lawrence

Nigel Lawrence has a strong background in health and safety management. Nigel has held various roles throughout their career, including Lead Manager Corporate Health and Safety at Wrexham County Borough Council since 2017, Principal H&S Officer at Wrexham CBC since 2000, and Divisional H&S Manager at Scottish Power CSL from 1997 to 2000. In these positions, Nigel has been responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies, conducting inspections and audits, providing advice and guidance, and managing H&S teams.

Nigel Lawrence completed their Masters Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Management from the University of Leicester from 2001-2004. Nigel also obtained an MSc in H&S Management during the same period. Prior to that, they studied Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians at Llandrillo College from 1978-1983. In 2013, Nigel began pursuing a qualification in NEBOSH - Construction from Glyndwr University, which is ongoing.
