Alisha Abraham

Alisha Abraham is a Senior Program Associate at WRI India since November 2024, bringing extensive experience in energy efficiency and research. Prior to this, Alisha served as a Senior Research Associate at the Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) from December 2021 to November 2024, where significant contributions included modeling the growth of District Cooling Systems and conducting in-depth analyses of energy efficiency investments' impact on employment. Earlier roles include leading groundbreaking energy-use benchmarking for Indian airports, analyzing energy efficiency across G20 nations, and conducting financial assessments of the Indian aviation sector. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Hyderabad and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Madras Christian College.
