Chaitanya Kanuri

Chaitanya Kanuri is an accomplished professional in the field of urban studies and e-mobility, currently serving as Associate Director for E-Mobility at WRI India since January 2017. Prior roles at WRI India include Senior Manager, Manager, and Senior Project Associate. Chaitanya's consultancy experience includes working as an Urban Consultant for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where contributions included leading the development of an international handbook on Sustainable Development Goals. Prior to GIZ, Chaitanya was a Research Assistant at the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, supporting urban development initiatives. Chaitanya also served as a Capstone Consultant for ICLEI, producing case studies on the Urban Nexus Approach, and a Researcher at Studio-X Mumbai, focusing on socio-economic conditions in urban villages. Educational qualifications include a B.Arch in Architecture from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, a Young India Fellowship from Ashoka University, and a Master’s Degree in Urban Studies/Affairs from Sciences Po.
