Varun Agarwal

Varun Agarwal is currently serving as the Manager in the Climate Program at WRI India. Prior to this, Varun also held positions at GIZ India, CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development, Dow Corning, Tata Consultancy Services, and Persistent Systems. Varun has a Master's Degree in Environment and Resource Management from TU Bergakademie Freiberg and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from COEP Technological University. Varun's expertise lies in analyzing low-carbon development pathways, designing and implementing carbon pricing mechanisms, and working on climate change mitigation strategies in the corporate sector.
