Nate Hanson - Ed.d.

Nate Hanson, Ed.D., serves as the wRight Choice Alternative to Suspension-BHM Schools in Wright County, Minnesota since August 2018. Prior to this role, Nate held administrative positions in the Sioux Falls School District and served as an Adjunct Professor in Educational Leadership at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. Nate has extensive experience in leadership positions, having been the Alternative Learning Principal at Worthington Senior High School and the K-12 Principal/Superintendent at Round Lake Brewster Schools. Nate began their career in education as a teacher at Brainerd Public Schools and Westonka Public Schools. Nate holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Bethel University, a 6th Year Licensure in Educational Leadership and Administration from St. Cloud State University, a Master’s in Education from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education/Health/DAPE from Concordia College.
