Curt Cordt has a vast and extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Curt is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Engineering Manager at Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative from June 2016 to June 2021. Before that, they held the position of Manager at Heartland Engineering Services from May 1999 to June 2016. Their career began as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Associate Consultants Engrs Inc. in October 1990 and they served in this role until May 1999.
Curt Cordt attended South Dakota State University from 1984 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to their university studies, they completed their high school education at Fairmont High School.
Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association
WH is a member-owned non-profit electric utility that provides electric power to Wright County and the western part of Hennepin County. The cooperative has been a corporate citizen in this area since 1937 and currently serves more than 50,000 electric accounts. The utility started its security division in 1989 that provides local home security solutions as well as monitors alarm systems for more than 50,000 customers in 32 states and three Canadian provinces.
