Katie grew up in Clinton, Utah where she was involved in many sports, primarily softball, gymnastics and cheerleading. She attended Utah State University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. At USU, Katie was injured as a collegiate athlete which required several weeks of physical therapy. During her recovery, Katie recognized a passion for rehabilitative therapy and enjoyed the ideology of healing the whole body. During this time, she met her incredible husband and they relocated to Texas wherein she earned a degree from Lone Star College – Montgomery as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She was an active member of the Texas Physical Therapy Association and also used her skills at Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, now recognized as The Ironman Institute, in a wide variety of orthopedics. Another relocation to Fargo, North Dakota allowed Katie to broaden her area of expertise in acute care, spine rehabilitation and neurological disorders. Her family began a new adventure in Burley, Idaho in 2018 and she is excited to continue her passion for manual therapy and orthopedics to increase her patient’s quality of life. Katie has 3 wonderful boys who love to run, jump and play (very loudly) and a devoted husband that shares her passion of human movement.
