Shannon Denton

Shannon Denton has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Shannon is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Wripple, a talent marketplace and freelance management platform focused on marketing and agency teams. Prior to that, Shannon worked as a Principal and Managing Partner at Fifth Wave Ventures. Shannon also served as an Entrepreneur In Residence at ATDC at Georgia Tech, where they mentored and advised tech startups on various aspects of their business strategies.

Before their roles as an entrepreneur and investor, Shannon held significant leadership positions at Razorfish. Shannon served as the Global CEO from 2015 to 2017 and as the CEO for North America from 2013 to 2015. In previous years, Shannon held various roles at Razorfish, including President, EVP of Strategy & Innovation, Central Region, and SVP, Managing Director. Their responsibilities included overseeing multiple business units, managing P&L, and driving growth and innovation.

Shannon's earlier career includes roles as President & CEO of Xcelerate Corp, a startup e-business professional services firm that they sold and merged into Razorfish. Shannon also worked at BSG, where they were promoted multiple times and led technology architecture, pitches, and client relationships. Shannon began their career as a Software Engineer at Octel, IBM, DSC Communications, and Intecom.
