Afsoon Z.

Afsoon Z. is a creative writer and editor currently self-employed since May 2021. With extensive experience in the cosmetics and skincare industry, Afsoon served as a business manager for brands like Lancôme and La Prairie at Nordstrom from August 2015 to September 2018, as well as a business specialist in skincare and cosmetics at Nordstrom and Lord & Taylor during the same period. Prior to this, Afsoon worked as a freelance makeup artist from 2003 to July 2013 and contributed as a beauty writer and translator for OCPC Magazine from July 2004 to November 2008. Earlier experience includes a role as an assistant store manager at Hallmark Coach House Gifts from April 2000 to October 2004. Academically, Afsoon holds A’levels in Foreign Languages and British Literature from Davies Laing & Dick in London, as well as a cosmetology license from Lake Forest Beauty College in California.
