Josh Grossman

Josh Grossman has a diverse work experience. Josh currently holds the position of Chief Product Officer at Writerly, a role they started in February 2023. Prior to this, they were the Chief Operations Officer at the same company, starting in October 2022. Before joining Writerly, Josh worked as an Analyst at Alkali Partners, a boutique investment bank focused on sell-side advisory for high growth SaaS companies. During their time there, they played a key role in business development and deal execution, as well as implementing a custom CRM system and spearheading a data strategy initiative.

In 2021, Josh worked as a Sales Associate at Green Mountain Energy Company. Josh also served as a Business Board Member at The Harvard Advocate and as an Arts Writer at The Harvard Crimson from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Harvard Radio Broadcasting and served as the Development Director at Harvard College China Forum from 2017 to 2019.

Josh has also gained experience in the finance industry, including a position as an Investments Summer Analyst at Global Atlantic Financial Group, where they worked on strategic M&A valuations, cash flow modeling, and corporate strategy. Furthermore, they worked as a Summer Analyst at R. G. Niederhoffer Capital Management and as a Summer Analyst Intern at JUCCCE (Joint US China Collaboration on Clean Energy) in 2018 and 2017, respectively.

Josh Grossman has a diverse education background. Josh obtained a Master of China Studies with a focus on Economics and Management from Yenching Academy of Peking University. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Harvard University, where they concentrated in Earth and Planetary Science and East Asian Studies. Before attending Harvard, Josh attended Brookline High School, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.

In addition to their formal education, Josh has also obtained various certifications. Josh obtained the Series 79 certification from FINRA in October 2022 and the Securities Industries Essentials certification from FINRA in September 2022. Josh also holds a PSIA Level 1 certification from the PSIA - AASI Professional Ski Instructors of America - American Association of Snowboard Instructors, which they obtained in January 2019. Furthermore, Josh obtained the NFA Series 3 - National Commodities Futures Examination certification from the National Futures Association in July 2018.
