Chad Buffington

Chad Buffington has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Chad started their career as a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble in 2008 and worked there until 2011. Chad then joined Barnes & Noble, Inc. as a Head Cashier from 2011 to 2013. Chad further expanded their skills by joining Hachette Book Group in 2013, where they served as a Contracts Assistant, Contracts Coordinator, and eventually as a Contracts Associate until 2018. In 2018, Chad joined Writers House as a Senior Contracts Associate and steadily climbed the ladder, holding positions such as Assistant Manager, Publishing Contracts, Contract Manager, and currently, they serve as the Director of Publishing Contracts.

Chad Buffington attended The University of Kansas from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History.
