Iris Chen is an accomplished editor and writer with extensive experience in the literary and publishing sectors. Currently serving as a mentee at Writers House, Iris is honing skills in generating reader reports, drafting catalog copy, and writing pitch and rejection letters. As a senior editor and staff writer at The Blue & White Magazine and an online editor for Columbia Undergraduate Law Review, Iris focuses on research and writing related to environmental law. Previous roles include editorial internships at W. W. Norton & Company, PIN-UP, and Living on Earth, along with experience as a housing discrimination initiative intern at The Fortune Society and outreach director at the Roosevelt Institute.
