Additionally, Alison serves as a content writer for WRITING ASSISTANCE, Inc. and continues as a Numerade Educator, specializing in detailed explanations of chemistry textbook questions. As a science writer for Albert | Learn By Doing since January 2019, Alison focuses on developing leveled articles for middle school students and advanced chemistry assessments. Alison's teaching experience spans several years, including a current role as a chemistry teacher at Brownsburg Community School Corporation and a previous position as an advanced science teacher at Pioneer Jr-Sr High School. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Technology from the University of Cincinnati, complemented by a certificate in Technical Writing and study abroad in Nuclear Chemistry at FH Aachen University.
