David Lemieux

David Lemieux has worked in various roles in the software development industry since 2003. David began their career as a Java Developer at Ericsson in 2003, where they were responsible for the conception and implementation of a performance testing tool to stress test a J2EE application server, as well as the implementation and automation of a J2EE application build system. In 2004, they took on the role of Performance Testing expert at Ericsson before moving to Radialpoint in 2005 as a Software Developer. At Radialpoint, they were promoted to Tech Lead in 2008 and was responsible for evaluating and promoting new technologies to solve data problems, researching and implementing solutions to data science challenges, and modeling data and troubleshooting performance problems. In 2015, David moved to Mnubo \u2013 An Aspen Technology Company, where they held multiple roles including Senior Director of Software Development, Senior Software Architect Lead, and Senior Software Lead. In this role, they were responsible for leading the insights and analytics team, making sure they could reliably deploy features multiple times per day, and for the architecture and implementation of a scalable, reliable, evolvable micro services based data analytics platform. Most recently, in 2022, David took on the role of VP Development Services at Wrk.

David Lemieux obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Informatique from Université de Sherbrooke between 2000 and 2004. In 2013, they obtained the Introduction to Data Science certification from Coursera. A year later, in 2014, they obtained the Functional Programming Principles in Scala certification from Coursera. In 2020, they began the Thayer Leadership Development Program at West Point, Organizational Leadership, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
