Ben K. Mickus, AIA, LEED is a seasoned architect with extensive experience in design and project execution. Currently a Senior Associate at WRNS Studio, Ben leads innovative projects that foster community engagement, balancing traditional hand sketching with modern digital approaches. In addition, Ben serves as a Board Member for Radium Presents, contributing to the development of a waterfront performing arts center in Alameda, California. As the founder of Mickus Projects, Ben oversees a multidisciplinary design studio focused on furniture, lighting, and architectural strategies. Previous roles include Associate at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP, where key projects included notable renovations and expansions, and Architect at Diller Scofidio + Renfro, contributing to significant cultural projects. Ben holds a Master of Architecture from UCLA and a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
