Malena Spar

Malena Spar is a Sustainability Coordinator at WRNS Studio, where responsibilities include managing LEED, WELL, LBC, and Fitwel certifications for new buildings, serving as a subject-matter expert for architectural and engineering teams. Previously, Malena held the position of Program Manager for the Built Environment at the Center for Environmental Health, focusing on educational programs related to environmental health issues in the built environment. Earlier experience includes leading a $6M NIH-funded research network at the University of California, San Francisco, and conducting extensive qualitative research for various health-related studies. Malena holds a Master of Public Health from the University of San Francisco and additional credentials in Healthier Materials and Sustainable Buildings from Parsons School of Design.
