Elisabet Tiana Roig

Elisabet Tiana Roig has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Elisabet started their career at Epsilon Formación as a Teacher from February 2006 to June 2007. Elisabet then worked as a Project Engineer at Oriol Cort Enginyers from February 2007 to September 2007, where they focused on telecommunication infrastructure projects. Elisabet then moved to Technical University of Denmark, where they first served as a Teaching Assistant from September 2008 to May 2009. Elisabet later joined the university again as a Research Assistant at the Acoustic Technology department, specializing in beamforming using arrays of microphones, from March 2010 to October 2010. Elisabet also completed their PhD at the university as a PhD candidate from October 2010 to November 2014.

In 2015, Elisabet joined Bruel & Kjaer Sound & Vibration Measurement A/S as an Application Engineer, providing technical support to application engineers worldwide and engaging in research activities. Elisabet was responsible for acting as a hub between application engineers in the field and product development. Elisabet directly supported customers in Scandinavia and Spain during their tenure, which lasted from January 2015 to September 2016.

Currently, Elisabet is working at WSAudiology, where they have held two positions. Elisabet first joined as an Electroacoustics Engineer from October 2016 to January 2022, contributing to electroacoustics/vibroacoustics tasks for hearing aid concept and product development. Elisabet'sresponsibilities included sound channel design, transducer selection, and transducer placement. Elisabet also conducted simulations and measurements. Elisabet then transitioned to the role of Lead Electroacoustics Engineer in February 2022. In this role, they coordinate and executes electroacoustics/vibroacoustics tasks for hearing aid concept development and follows up during product development. Elisabet specializes in simulation using COMSOL and Matlab and works closely with various departments such as mechanical, hardware, signal processing, marketing, and quality.

Elisabet Tiana Roig has a strong education background in engineering and telecommunications. Elisabet obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Acoustic Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2014. Prior to that, they completed an MSc in Engineering Acoustics (Civil Engineer) at the same university from 2007 to 2009. Elisabet also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, which they earned from 2001 to 2009. Elisabet completed their Bachelor and MSc in Telecommunication Engineering at the same university from 2001 to 2007. Elisabet received their elementary and secondary education at St. Gregori. Elisabet has also gained several certifications in areas such as developing managers in organizations, performance management, goal setting, organizational culture, and communication skills through LinkedIn.
