Rafia Nishan holds the position of Minister for Human Rights and Gender Issues at the National Youth Assembly Pakistan since March 2022, focusing on national policy development and initiative implementation. Rafia is also serving as a WSA-Youth Ambassador and member of the Young Innovators Jury since October 2023, previously worked as an International Project Management Intern at the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum, and gained journalism experience as a Training and Research Intern at Pakistan Television Corporation Limited. Rafia has held roles including Research and Development Manager at Zarlala Enterprises and Article Writer at Modern Diplomacy, while also demonstrating leadership as Project Leader for the "Abuse Free Pakistan" community service project. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (expected May 2026) and a Bachelor's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from National Defence University Islamabad.
