Calvin Knowles

Calvin Knowles is an experienced photojournalist currently employed at WSAV-TV since May 1999. Expertise includes DVC-Pro and Panasonic P2 editing and photography, microwave truck operation, and radio news gathering without a reporter. Responsibilities encompass sending photos and videos back to the newsroom via iPhone, managing daily video story imports and exports for the web, and editing packages. Prior experience includes working as a commercial videographer/editor at WUBI-TV, where Calvin was involved in shooting and editing video for promotions, commercials, and station IDs, as well as part-time master control duties. Previous to this, a role as a media specialist at Waycross College involved providing media technology support for faculty, students, and staff in various settings. Calvin Knowles holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Savannah State University and has an educational background from Western Nebraska Community College.
