David Hart

David Hart has over 30 years of experience in the media industry. David is currently serving as the Vice President and General Manager at WSAV-TV since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at WRBL News 3 for almost a decade, where they held the position of Vice-President & General Manager. During their time at WRBL News 3, they modernized the station's operations and oversaw the conversion to full high-definition broadcast content. Before that, they worked at Media General as the Director of Content/News Director for WBTW-TV. David was promoted to lead the converged market content operation for Media General in the Florence-Myrtle Beach area. Additionally, they also took on roles such as Executive Producer, Producer, Assignment Manager, and Greenville Newsroom Assignment Editor during their tenure at WSPA-TV. David started their career at Federal Broadcasting as a General Assignment Reporter and Photographer and eventually became the Executive Producer/Reporter/Photographer at WCFT-TV. David was responsible for managing daily newscast production, breaking news coverage, and staff development. David Hart has a strong background in strategic leadership and operational management in the media industry.

David Hart attended Auburn University from 1987 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Radio and Television.
