Karyn Greer is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in television news. Currently serving as the Evening Anchor at WSB-TV since March 2022, Karyn previously held various roles at WGCL/CBS46, including Community Engagement Manager, News Anchor, and Investigative Reporter, where investigative work focused on uncovering government waste. Karyn's career spans multiple networks, with significant positions at WXIA-TV, WGNX-TV, and WCSC-TV, where Karyn was recognized as the first black news anchor in the station's history. Karyn began the broadcasting journey as a Chyron Operator and Technical Director at WCIA-TV. Karyn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Rhetoric with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
