Idan Arbiv

Idan Arbiv is a Deep Learning Researcher at The Sequential Learning Group, working under Dr. Omri Azencot since October 2022. Concurrently, Idan serves as a Teaching Assistant for CS 202 at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and as a GenAI & NLP Algorithm Developer at WSC Sports. Previous experience includes the role of Algorithm Engineer at Sony Semicon (IL), where Idan developed an LLM-based web application for document retrieval and implemented fusion indexing techniques. Prior positions also encompassed software development for cellular IoT applications and leadership roles within the IDF, specifically as a Communications (C4I) Officers Course Team Leader and C4I Officer in various capacities. Idan is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, having already earned an MS and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution.
