Brooke Schlyer

Brooke Schlyer is an experienced journalist and news anchor currently serving as the Midday News Anchor at WSIL-TV since May 2018. Previously, Brooke held the position of Morning News Anchor at One America News Network, where responsibilities included writing national and international news segments and solo anchoring multiple newscasts. Additional experience encompasses a reporting role for HD Productions, covering community events, and writing for The Daily Aztec, where a notable interview with Wu-Tang's RZA was conducted. Internships at U-T San Diego and What's Trending provided foundational experience in news production and social media storytelling. Brooke's educational background includes pursuing a bachelor's degree in Journalism from San Diego State University.
