Asanka Abeysinghe

Asanka Abeysinghe is the Deputy CTO & VP, Architecture, CTO Office at WSO2. Asanka has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on software architecture and product development. Asanka has worked with various cutting-edge technologies, including Java, C++, C#, and Ruby on Rails. Asanka has also worked with clients in the financial services industry on business and technical requirements. In their previous role as Senior Software Architect at Affno, they were responsible for the technology selection, architecture, and design of projects. Asanka also led the R&D department and provided technical guidance to the marketing team.

Asanka Abeysinghe has a Bsc in MIS from University College Dublin. Asanka also has a certification from SpeakerHub as a member, and a certification from Forbes Technology Council as an Official Member. Asanka is also an Advisory Board Member for DevNetwork.

Asanka Abeysinghe reports to Eric Newcomer, Chief Technology Officer. They work with Nuwan Dias - VP & Deputy CTO, API Management & Integration, Christopher Davey - VP, Solutions Architecture (Integration), and Afkham Azeez - VP & Deputy CTO - Cloud. and Srinath Perera - SVP & Chief Architect reports to Asanka Abeysinghe.
