Dashawn Brown

DaShawn Brown is an experienced sports anchor and news reporter currently working at WSOC-TV Eyewitness News since December 2015, where a focus is placed on covering under-represented stories. Prior to this, DaShawn served as a multimedia journalist and anchor at WCSC-TV Live 5 News from November 2013 to December 2015, leading significant live coverage on major events, including presidential visits and the Charleston Church Shooting. Earlier experience includes roles as a sports reporter, anchor, and producer at WTOC-TV and WABG - ABC News 6. DaShawn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
