Jonathan R. Lowe

Jonathan R. Lowe is an experienced news reporter with a rich background in broadcast journalism. Currently serving as a news reporter at WSOC-TV Eyewitness News since June 2022, Jonathan previously held positions at Spectrum as an anchor/reporter and news reporter with fill-in anchor duties from September 2016 to May 2022. Prior to that, Jonathan worked as a reporter/anchor at KPHO - A Meredith Corporation from September 2013 to May 2016, and as an anchor/reporter at WNEM TV5 from September 2010 to September 2013. Jonathan's career began at Time Warner Cable News, where roles included reporter/video journalist and multi-media journalist, from August 2006 to September 2010. Jonathan's early experience also includes an assignment editor position at WFMY News 2 for a brief period in 2006. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, obtained from 2001 to 2005.
