Carl Wignell CMIOSH is an experienced safety and health professional with a robust background in various high-level roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Associate Director of Global HSEQ Operations, Compliance & Assurance at WSP since June 2017, Carl has led significant projects including HS2 and M1 smart motorway. Previous positions include SHE Manager at Mouchel, Senior Safety and Health Manager at Tarmac, and Senior H&S Advisor at Aggregate Industries, where Carl established critical health and safety standards and improved risk management processes. Carl holds an MSC in Health and Safety Management from Loughborough University and several qualifications in health, safety, and environmental management.
