Craig Higgins

Craig Higgins is a driven and conscientious Major Pursuits and Growth Director at WSP, where they focus on innovative techniques and approaches to technical processes. Between 2016 and 2023, they served as Technical Director at Jacobs, managing a team of 26 transport modellers and planners in the north of England. Craig's expertise also includes roles such as Senior Transport Planner and Transport Planner, where they handled resource management and project delivery for various transport planning and modelling projects. They began their academic journey at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, earning a Second Class Honours degree in GIS (Geomatics) and later a Master's degree in Transport Engineering and Operations. Additionally, Craig worked as a Research Associate at Newcastle University, contributing to the SwitchEV project and publishing findings related to electric vehicle impacts on road networks.
