Geoff Oliphant

Geoff Oliphant, MBA, PMP, currently serves as the Director of Global IT Procurement at WSP, where responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and managing risk and relationships with IT suppliers. With extensive experience in various IT leadership roles, Geoff previously held the position of Director of Global IT Finance, Contracts and Technology Procurement at Golder, overseeing a substantial IT budget and procurement strategies. Prior to that, Geoff worked at ENMAX in multiple capacities, including Director of IS Corporate and Director of Corporate IS Services, leading initiatives in strategic roadmaps, vendor management, and financial oversight. Early career experiences include IT consulting roles at ThoughtWorks and Computer Associates, as well as a construction project management role at McDonald's. Geoff holds an MBA from the University of Calgary, a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Edith Cowan University, a BA in Economics from Simon Fraser University, and a Diploma in General Studies from Capilano University.
