Veterinary Anatomic Pathologist / Clinical Professor at WSU College of Veterinary Medicine

Kevin Snekvik serves as the Executive Director of the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory at Washington State University, where involvement spans over two decades since 2003, including roles as Interim Molecular Diagnostics Section Head and Aquatic Animal Health Section Head. Kevin oversees a team managing diagnostic testing for fish pathogens and leads health testing for the interstate and international movement of fish. Additionally, Kevin is a Clinical Professor and ACVP Boarded Anatomic Pathologist with a focus on comparative pathology, including research on various pathogens and related studies. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Operations at WADDL and as an Associate Veterinarian at Big Sky Animal Clinic. Kevin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Sciences, along with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Washington State University.
