Jack Franzino is a versatile professional in the field of sports journalism and production. Currently serving as a Sports Reporter at The Oswegonian, a student-run newspaper, Jack has crafted engaging stories through extensive research and interviews. Additional roles include Utility at Ming Entertainment, where assistance is provided for live productions, and Production Assistant at WTOP-TV 10, managing various types of programming. Jack also has extensive experience in sports officiating and coaching with Hewlett Woodmere Little League, where responsibilities have included maintaining game standards and training athletes. Previously, Jack worked as a Photographer for FM Entertainment, capturing events with a focus on quality imagery. Jack holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the State University of New York at Oswego.

WTOP-TV 10

WTOP-10 TV is a student-run closed circuit television station located on the SUNY Oswego campus in central New York. The station is on-air 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with both student produced shows and professionally produced movies. Five nights a week, WTOP broadcasts a 30 minute news program at 10:00pm that can be seen locally on channel 10 and across the north-central region of NY on Time Warner access channel 96. WTOP is also proud to broadcast every men's and women's hockey game played at home. In the past year, WTOP has made leaps and bounds with our sports broadcasts—they can be seen on channels 10 & 96, and 1027, as well as on the web at athletics.oswego.edu/video.
