Dan Whitford

Dan Whitford is an experienced media and sales professional with over 25 years in the broadcasting and advertising industries. Currently serving as the Manager of Sales at WTTW/Chicago PBS since July 2016, Dan previously held roles at Chicago Public Media and Lakeshore Public Media, where expertise in soliciting new underwriters and managing existing accounts was demonstrated. Dan has also contributed to RPM Advertising and MMC Group as a Senior Media Buyer and Media Director, respectively, overseeing significant media budgets and campaigns. Earlier experience includes negotiating local television advertising for RPA and serving as a Traffic Coordinator at Weigel Broadcasting Company. Dan holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of Illinois Chicago, earned in 1995.
