Kim Mattes has a long and varied work experience in the field of production services. Kim started their career in 1988 as the Manager of Production Services at CSTV, where they worked as an in-studio producer, coordinated schedules of field producers, and also served as an Office Manager. In 1993, they joined WTTW Channel 11 as the Manager of Production Services. Finally, in 1998, they became the Director of Production Services at WTTW, where they managed a $200,000 production budget, developed advertising and marketing plans, and negotiated studio facilities and service agreements for outside clients.
Kim Mattes attended Northeastern Illinois University from 1982 to 1985, where they earned a bachelor's degree in Communications.
