Wugen
John Gierer has over 12 years of work experience. John began their career in 2009 as a Lab Technician at Nestle Purina. In 2010, they moved to the University of Missouri as a Research Assistant. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center as a Research Associate and Senior Lab Technician. In 2017, they joined KWS Group as a Senior Research Associate. John is currently employed at Wugen as a Senior Associate Scientist since 2022.
John Gierer received their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Plant Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they earned their Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Biotechnology from Saint Louis Community College between 2007 and 2009.
