Nitin Mahajan

Nitin Mahajan has a wealth of experience in data science, consulting, teaching, and research. Nitin began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine in 2010. Nitin then moved to Washington University School of Medicine in 2013, where they worked as a Staff Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Associate. In 2016, they joined St. Louis Children's Hospital as a Sr. Scientist. In 2017, they worked as a Consultant for The BALSA Group. In the same year, they became a Faculty at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. In 2019, they enrolled in a mentor-led program with Springboard as a Data Science Fellow, where they gained experience in Python, R, SQL, data analysis, data visualization, hypothesis testing, and machine learning. In 2020, they became a Tutor for Varsity Tutors and a Teaching Assistant Data Analytics for Washington University Boot Camps, providing support for the instructor in educating students attending the Data Analytics Bootcamp. Nitin also worked as a Senior Data Scientist and Principal Data Scientist for Wugen. Finally, they were a Consultant for Knowledge Isotopes Pvt. Ltd. from 2015 to 2020.

Nitin Mahajan has a long and varied educational history. Nitin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biotechnology from Vallab Govt College, Mandi, HP-India from 1997 to 2000. Nitin then went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Microbiology from Central Research Institute, Kasauli, India from 2000 to 2002. In 2005, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Experimental Medicine and Education, Cardiovascular Science from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research. Nitin has also completed a Master's Program in Data Science from Simplilearn Alumni from 2018 to 2019, a Data Science Career Track from Springboard from 2019 to 2020, and a Master of Science - MS in Data Science from Bellevue University from 2020 to 2021. Additionally, Nitin has obtained certifications from a variety of institutions, including Alteryx, Tableau Software, LinkedIn, Udemy, Simplilearn, DataCamp, Amazon Web Services (AWS), NIDA Clinical trial Network, and Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis.
