Preeta Dasgupta

Preeta Dasgupta has a wealth of experience in regulatory affairs. Preeta has worked in various roles since 2007. Preeta began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. In 2012, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at MedImmune/Astra Zeneca. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Regulatory Affairs Officer [C] at the Office of Regulatory Affairs, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). During this time, they developed efficient regulatory strategies for biologics in asthma/allergy and autoimmunity therapeutic areas, facilitated transition of multiple clinical projects from planning to operational stage, and led 4 Study Management Teams. In 2016, they became a Project Manager at the University of California San Diego, where they developed regulatory strategies for a novel regenerative medicine cell therapy product for oncology indications, formulated and refined strategic goals/milestones, and led communications with FDA. Currently, they are a Director of Regulatory Affairs and an Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs at Wugen.

Preeta Dasgupta received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from the University of Maryland Baltimore in 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Microbiology, Chemistry and Botany from St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore University, India in 2005.
