Liz Schlemmer

Liz Schlemmer currently serves as the Education Reporter at North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC, a position held since December 2019. Prior to this, Liz was the Education & Learning Reporter at Louisville Public Media, where coverage focused on Jefferson County Public Schools and Kentucky education policy. Earlier experience includes roles at North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC as an Education Policy Reporter and Morning Edition Producer, along with an internship at St. Louis Public Radio and a project management position for The Irina Project at UNC School of Media and Journalism. Liz's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from UNC School of Media and Journalism.
