Stacia L. Brown

Stacia L. Brown is a seasoned producer and writer with extensive experience in public radio and podcasting. Currently serving as a Producer at North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC since September 2023, Stacia has held key positions including Interim Executive Producer for The Takeaway at New York Public Radio and Senior Producer for Podcasts at Ten Percent Happier. Stacia co-founded Rise of Charm City LLC, an audio production company, and created and led the biweekly public radio program "Baltimore: The Rise of Charm City." Prior roles include Associate Producer at Smithsonian Digital Studios and Freelance Contributor for The Washington Post. Stacia holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College and a BA in English from Trinity Washington University.
