Richard Mauro has extensive experience in the finance industry, with a focus on infrastructure and energy sectors. Richard started their career at Deutsche Bank Securities, where they held various roles, including Vice President in the Infrastructure & Energy Group. In this role, they led the origination and execution of multiple financings, totaling over $3 billion. Richard also played a key role in structuring various types of financing agreements, including senior secured, mezzanine, back-levered, export credit agency, and private placement financings. Richard Mauro's work involved negotiating complex documentation, such as credit agreements, security documents, and ISDAs. Richard conducted thorough due diligence for transactions, including reviewing engineering reports, insurance assessments, and market analyses. Additionally, they wrote credit analysis memos and underwrote financings for renewable energy projects, conventional power, LNG terminals, and infrastructure facilities. Richard also gained experience in syndicating debt and analyzing tax equity arrangements. Richard Mauro's work at Deutsche Bank secured several awards and recognition for noteworthy transactions. In 2017, they joined Wunder as the Head of Capital Markets and later became the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
