Agnieszka Somerville

Agnieszka Somerville has a long and distinguished career in business development and sales. Agnieszka began their career in 2000 at Liberty Global, where they held the roles of Affiliate Sales Director, Representation Channels (GM Poland) and Head of Marketing, Global. In 2011, they joined AMC Networks International UK as Commercial Director, Europe, where they were responsible for all commercial revenues and business development of a portfolio of international brands. In 2015, they moved to Lebara as Head of Acquisitions & Business Development at Lebara Play, where they were responsible for negotiating carriage and acquisition deals for an OTT platform targeting migrants. In 2020, they joined mediaTool as Sales & Partnerships Director, responsible for the commercial strategy, inbound and outbound sales, new partnerships and account management. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Wurl as Director of Business Development and Business Development Lead, EMEA, responsible for powering streaming ad-supported TV channels.

Agnieszka Somerville holds a Master of Arts degree in Lingustics, English & American Literature from the University of Warsaw and a Master of Arts degree in Marketing Communications from the University of Westminster.
