Dr. Kelly Makino, SPHR is currently the Vice President of People & Culture at The Wurzak Hotel Group, where they lead Human Resources initiatives and shape the company's culture. With a background in psychology and a strong focus on talent development, Dr. Makino has held various leadership roles in organizations such as Tang & Company and Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties. Their educational background includes a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, a Doctor of Education in Leadership from the University of Southern California, and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of California, Los Angeles.
