Stephanie Angel has vast research experience, with their most recent role being an Associate Scientist/Study Director in Electron Microscopy/Virology at WuXi Advanced Therapies. Before that, they worked as a Research Associate at Purdue University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, Stephanie held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, where they conducted research on noradrenergic projections and analyzed projections from the visual cortical area. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Researcher under Dr. Daoguo Zhou's lab, focusing on the modulation of the host immune response in fending off bacterial infections. Stephanie also has extensive teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for various courses in microbiology, genetics, and protein expression. Stephanie began their research career as an Undergraduate Researcher in the fields of electron microscope tomography and cognitive learning and memory.
Stephanie Angel completed their high school education at the University School of Nova Southeastern University from 2008 to 2011. Stephanie then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology and Physiology, Psychology at Purdue University, which they completed from 2011 to 2015. Following that, they went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Structural Biology and Biophysics at Purdue University from 2015 to 2017.
