Letian Kuai

Letian Kuai is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of WuXi Biology at WuXi AppTec since May 2018, Letian has held several key positions within the company, including Executive Director of DEL Technology & Strategy and Senior Director of DEL Biology. Prior to WuXi AppTec, Letian was the Chief Scientific Officer at CRELUX from March 2020 to December 2022 and worked as an Investigator at GSK from January 2010 to May 2018. Letian's academic journey includes roles as a Research Scientist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and as a Postdoctoral Associate under Dr. Edward Scolnick, contributing to significant research on schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Letian's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Rochester and an M.S. in Biochemistry from Nanjing University.
