Zhiyong Duan

Zhiyong Duan is a seasoned professional in the field of organic chemistry, currently serving as the Senior Director and Head of the IDSU Singapore Site at WuXi AppTec since June 2022. Prior to this role, Zhiyong held multiple positions at AMRI (Albany Molecular Research Inc.) from July 2005 to June 2022, advancing from Senior Research Scientist to Senior Research Scientist III. Zhiyong earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, between 1998 and 2004, after obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Nankai University from 1994 to 1998.
