Jiuyi Lu

Jiuyi Lu currently serves as the Executive Director and CMC Lead at WuXi Biologics as of October 2025. Prior to this role, Jiuyi Lu was self-employed as a consultant for two months in 2025. From November 2022 to July 2025, Jiuyi Lu held the position of Senior Director of Gene Therapy Process Development - Upstream at Sarepta Therapeutics, where significant contributions were made to gene therapy programs, including FDA/EMA interactions and validation strategies. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Upstream Process Development at Rubius Therapeutics, achieving notable productivity gains, and as Associate Director and Sr. Scientist at Sanofi, focusing on rAAV platform development and advanced statistical modeling in process characterization. Throughout the career, Jiuyi Lu has consistently demonstrated expertise in CMC leadership, process development, and cross-functional collaboration in biologics and gene therapy.
